Christmas may be fun, but it will wear you out.

How many of you usually prepare for Christmas by purchasing a lot of food, presents, and then find yourself pressed for time and really tired? After the lovely Christmas we had today with our family I am beat. However we spent it at my sisters today so I had no left overs like I would have normally had if I would have cooked myself. I came in and was beat from a over active day filled of fun, laughter, and unwrapping presents. I really just wanted to go to sleep, but I knew I had to find something for our family to eat for dinner. What better way than to fix a quick easy meal with hardly no clean up RIGHT?! I had received a BzzAgent Campaign for the Kroger Skillet Meals, Kroger Garlic Bread, and Fresh Selection Salad Kits. Let me first start by saying the Kroger Skillet Meals can be prepared with little effort in 10 minutes! Now the garlic bread is actually a large loaf and can be cooked in the oven in a matter of minutes as well. The salad took a little more effort because even though it comes with Croutons, Cheese, Fresh Green Salad, and a little dressing we always add extras to our salad. However I can say this was a great way to start. I was done cooking within 13 minutes and had everything cleaned up in a additional 10. The next time I am tired and looking for a way out I will be choosing the Kroger Skillet Meals with all the extras :)

Stressed During the Holidays? No time to Cook?? I have the solution!

Hey everyone we all know when Christmas time comes its a beautiful time of the year! We also know it becomes very hectic with shopping and fixing dinner. It can become very overwhelming. Let's say you forgot to lay something out and with all the shopping your tired, but you feel so guilty about stopping past McDonalds to feed your children? Well now you don't have too!! You can have a full course meal in 10 minutes!! That's right I said 10 minutes!

The Skillet Meals come in a variety of selections, but the one we chose was the Tuscan Penne Pasta. Upon arriving at home throwing all our bags in the living room, I quickly started our dinner. It was very simple, fast and minimum clean up. With in 10 minutes we had a decent meal on the table. Now I will admit I didn't care for the Skillet Meal as much as I thought I would, but for a 10 minute meal I can't say much. I personally am going to try a few of the different flavors before I make my final decision on purchasing this again. I will do  a follow up post on what  I thought of the other varieties. In the mean time I can tell you the Kroger Garlic Bread and Fresh Selection Salad is totally awesome!  I love the garlic bread comes in a huge loaf and the salad is a great starter kit!
    

Maggi So Juicy & BzzAgent really made a huge impression on our Family Dinner!!

Hey Guys I got a great meal idea for you!! How many of you have heard of the Maggi So Juicy? Well for those of you who have no idea what it is let me explain. Most will think its simply a seasoning packet. Which it does seem that way, but it's much more than just seasoning. It's a easy meal that can be prepared as little as 45 minutes. You can pick these up at your local grocery store such as Kroger. Now let me start off by saying I am a BzzAgent and I receive great products to review for my honest opinion and review. I will tell you I was very skeptical when I received this. They sent me 3 packages of the Maggi So Juicy in different flavors. One of the flavors I received was the Italian Countryside and the other one was Mediterranean Herb Medley. You also can find other flavors at . After inspecting my package I noticed there is a bag at the top of my seasoning packet. I had 3 simple steps to follow upon preparing my meal. Bag, Coat, and Cook. It doesn't get much easier than that.

We actually thawed out our chicken, and decided to add a few potatoes, green peppers, and onions along with the Maggi So Juicy packet. You can see from the photo what all we was able to add into our bag even though it looked thin and small it actually held enough to feed our family of 3.

Our next step was simple bag everything and simply coat with the seasoning and shake to mix it all up. That was to make sure everything was coated evenly.You will also notice the red tie at the end that came with the bag to help secure your meal inside. 

After that we simply put it in a casserole dish and then heated the oven to 350 degrees and let it cook for about a hour. Based on your oven settings  it could take anywhere from 45minutes to a hour cooking time.


You would not believe how Juicy our dinner turned out! It was simply amazing and clean up was very simple. We simply threw away the bag since there was no left overs and cleaned the casserole dish and we were all satisfied and very full. I suggest that you try Maggi So Juicy if your looking for a great meal that is quick, with minimum clean up, and very simple to put together.

Delicious Dinner in under a HOUR! With hardly no prep or clean up NEEDED!!

How many of you suffer from not being able to find enough time in the day to cook your family the dinner you think they so very much deserve? Well now you can. The next one is to simply open your seasoning packet. You will also notice you have a red tie inside that will help you seal your bag once stuffing everything inside.

Now once you have everything you need (which really only requires chicken) you can  add some potatoes, vegetables, rice, anything you would like. (Our reference was Chicken, Potatoes, A little Onion, and a Green Bell Pepper) You are ready to start....

Step 1 Add chicken to the bag (Potatoes, Rice, Vegetables, Onions, Etc)
Step 2 Simply Sprinkle the seasoning packet into the bag with everything you just added
Step 3 Shake your bag so it coats everything pretty evenly and cook

That is it!!! You simply wait 45minutes-1hr for your meal to finish cooking and after that you will have a Delicious, Juicy Meal that your family will enjoy together.

Dirt, Grime, and Soap Scum? No more bleach! Only Lysol Power & Free in this home!!

I have always been a huge Bleach Fanatic! With the help of BzzAgent and Lysol Power & Free Multi-Surface Cleaner and Wipes I will no longer be using Bleach unless its in my dingy white clothes! I couldn't wait to put these products to the test for the tough jobs! What tougher job is there than the bathroom?! How many of you have white kitchen counters in your home? Well I am one of them. It's the toughest thing to keep clean. I have always been a bleach fanatic in order to keep them clean. I have always hated using bleach though because it is so hard on my hands, and I have to use gloves! Nobody wants the hassle of putting on and removing gloves when cleaning. Another thing I often worried about it using it where I prepare my food for my meals. I often worried about getting the residue off well enough so it wouldn't contaminate our food. My son has always complained about the strong smell of bleach when I clean, however I found a new product that I can use and nobody complains! I don't have to wear the gloves anymore. Another great benefit is I can use a hand towel and I won't have it spotted up with bleach stains! I bet you all are wondering what is she using? Let me tell you some of the wonderful benefits of using this product. It has Hydrogen Peroxide inside that creates a bubbly reaction when sprayed onto surfaces to get down and deep to clean those hard stubborn stains! One of the hardest stains I have found to remove from my white kitchen counters are COFFEE STAIN! Either someone will overfill the coffee cup, and it will get spilled a little, or they will lay their spoon down on the counter and it will stain it. This is one of the hardest stains to remove! It's no job for the Lysol Power & Free Spray though! We all love the fact I can clean and the harsh fumes are not present. Plus we know its killing 99% of the germs. We all know how important that can be in our kitchen where we prepare our meals and its not leaving behind the residue that the bleach leaves! Another great place to use this product is the bathroom. I always used Clorox Clean up to wipe the toilet seat. Not anymore I have been using the wipes that BzzAgent sent and they are wonderful! I can keep these handy under my bathroom sink for a quick cleanup if someone has aimed and missed, or if someone has made a mess on the seat! This comes in handy esp if we have company I can act as if I'm using the restroom wipe the toilet seat off and flush the wipe! No one ever knows! How great is that?! We all know how hard stains can be on your teeth especially if you are a coffee drinker, or a smoker. Now let me tell you about my shopping experience. After I downloaded my coupon I headed out to Kroger to grab some items and of course my free toothpaste! I have always been a shopper at Kroger and let me explain why. At our local Kroger we have the friendliest people ever. They go above and beyond to help you if you need help. Today I actually needed help as I couldn't find the Colgate. A lady actually told me that they had it in the back and was getting ready to stock the shelf. She was nice enough to go all the way in the back and get me the Colgate so I could continue my shopping. Now that is what I call GREAT QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE!! This is the reason why I am a customer here at Kroger. I hope you all take full advantage of all the great benefits Kroger has to offer you. Freebie Obsession :)

I recently have found a new love and a very addicting habit lol!! I am a Freebie Lover :) That's right! I admit I have a problem haha! Seriously though I never realized you can actually receive some great things threw the mail. I just like other users have a facebook account and I ran across a few people that donate their time to finding freebies and posting them on their wall for us to gain access to. There are a few that I absolutely love. There is Love For Freebies, Vonbeau, and Freebie Ninja. There are several more but these are my  top choices. Now let me explain to you why. If you get on their page these people go above and beyond to help you score freebies, and even enter giveaways but that is not the best part about them. They all are so very friendly that they make you feel like you have been best friends for years. Even some of their current subscribers are wonderful people. So if you have a facebook account and are interested in freebies and giveaways these people are wonderful! I received another great product from Swaggable.com to review today.....How many of you have heard of the Crystal Towelettes? These are unscented towelettes that are in the form of wipes, but they are deodorant! I have always been a firm believer in my current deodorant because its never let me down. I actually use Degree for women and its the only thing I have found that keeps me feeling and smelling fresh. So when I received this I can't wait to put it to the ultimate test....As soon as I test it....I'll be sure to let you guys/gals know exactly if this towelette does what other leading brands do :)

Hot Hot days are here to stay!

We all know with summer being here and it being so hot outside its always a good idea to stay hydrated. Also you need to make sure you keep sunscreen handy. Today I was very lucky and received a product  from Swaggable.com. They actually sent me a product to review and I am glad to say it was from Goddess Garden Organics. Yeah we all know that look. That is the look of sensitive teeth! How many of you are like me and suffer from sensitive teeth? A few years back I had some fillings put in and ever since then I have had hot/cold sensitivity to different foods, and drinks. I know some of you probably suffer from the same thing. Well how do you all deal with it? I got a great way that I hope you will consider trying!! A few weeks ago I received a Mission for Smiley360 and was told to use this product for 2 weeks before I gave my honest review on the product. Upon opening the box my first reaction was  yeah okay two weeks using this and as soon as I bite down on something cold/hot its going to start right back...I did notice when I opened my box though it said from the Makers of Orajel. I received a package compliments of Smiley360 the other day. I couldn't wait to get my package inside and open it. Once I got it inside and opened it I realized it was the AZO Mission! For those of you who don't know what AZO is....its a medication to help relieve the pain of Urinary Tract Infections. I found out a lot about AZO over the past few days. Today I received my Runa Cinnamon-Lemongrass Tea!! I'm getting ready to write my review right now....I will say this I was actually kind of surprised because I usually don't like flavored tea...I usually drink Lipton (tea bags) with sugar. But this was a pleasant experience for me! It wasn't bad at all. I tried it hot and I can say I wasn't a huge fan, but after it cooled it was quite good. I would rather drink this cold rather than hot! I'm not a big fan of hot tea either. As far as buying the product I probably wouldn't just because its not something I would drink a lot of....However I would consider purchasing the product for a change once in a while. Thanks for the coupon too  That always helps when purchasing!!

I received the ‪#‎colgatetotalMW‬ the other day from being a member of ‪#‎Influenster‬!! I must say I love this mouth wash! It has a great flavor and hardly even a burning sensation like most mouthwashes. However I will say if you have chapped lips it does stink a little  This mouth wash was wonderful to use and the best part my son loves it too! He can finally hold the mouthwash in his mouth for the amount of time hes suppose to. Usually he would spit it out before the time was up!! City Living vs Country Living....

How many times do we hear people say they wish they lived out in the peaceful country where they could see  the wildlife, and enjoy the peace and quiet?! Well that all maybe true, but sometimes when you get into the smaller towns you run into a lot of hardships too. One thing I can think of right off the top of my head is in the town I currently live in the population is roughly 900 people. I know kind of like Mayberry huh?! Lol!! Well here are the draw backs, you have to travel to the nearest city to do your major shopping. Stores are very limited in small towns and the products you may be looking for may not be sold there. The other great thing about major cities are public transportation. In the larger cities you have the opportunity to save money by taking the local bus back and fourth to travel back and fourth to work, or to school. With the high gas prices you are sure to save quite a bit. Also another great quality is to keep youth as well as yourself occupied with different activities to do. In the larger cities you have the chance to see museums, possibly attend amusement parks, etc things you do not have the advantage of when living in the country. So before making a choice about which one is more appealing to you....Take time to out weigh the pros and cons.

Your most recent dinning experience, Negative/Positive?

We are always looking for a good deal when dining out. Well the other night we were looking for something that wasn't to expensive, yet was close to where we live. We finally decided on Hometown Pizza. They are locally owned chain here in our little small town. Before ordering I visited their website at www.hometownpizza.com to see what all they had on their menu. Luckily for us they had a coupon where you could get $4.00 off a $20.00 or  more order. So that was a plus for sure. We have ate inside this facility before and you can't beat their customer service. One great quality of a good food chain is great customer service. Nobody wants to go in and be ignored. You want someone who is attentive and who will go above and beyond to make your dining experience a pleasant one. This is exactly what hometown will do for you, or at least ours did. They will seat you as soon as you walk in the door, but will ask you if you have a seating preference. Since they have 3 levels they will ask which you prefer or if you prefer sitting next to the window.  They also if you have children they will ask you if you would like a coloring page with crayons to keep them occupied while waiting for your food to be prepared. They always make a wonderful effort to get your appetizers out 1st if you order  any and will keep your drinks on full. By the time your finished with your appetizers they will have your meal on the table in front of you and they do all  this with a smile on their face. Wanting a nice cocktail and wishing you had the beauty of being in Florida well heres one for you guys...

3oz. Pineapple Juice
2 scoops vanilla Ice Cream
3/4oz Dark Rum
2 splashes of Orange Juice
3/4oz Cream
2 ice cubes
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for one minute or until smooth!!

Ice Cream Cake!! Yum!!

Who doesn't love to cool off on a hot day by eating some ice cream?! Everyone in our house loves ice cream...So I found a recipe for a ice cream cake....Its a Oreo Ice Cream cake and its out of this world...That is if you like ice cream and oreos :) The reason I loved this recipe because its simple actually that is what its called Simple Oreo Ice Cream cake...Here is the recipe that I found :

• 30 oreo cookies, crushed (plus more if you’d like to sprinkle some on top)
• ½ c melted butter
• ½ gallon ice cream (any flavor), slightly softened
• 1 jar hot fudge sauce/or carmel topping which ever you like the best 
• 2 – 8 oz. containers cool whip, softened

Mix melted butter & oreos.  Press into a 9×13 inch pan. Soften fudge in microwave.  Smooth softened ice cream over cookie mixture.  Smooth fudge sauce over ice cream.  Spread cool whip over the ice cream.  Sprinkle with additional crushed oreos.  Freeze at least 2 hours.  Keep frozen until 15 minutes before serving.

Black Cats aren't always bad luck

We have had Ginx for a while now and even though some people don't like black cats because they are superstitious and believe they are bad luck...he has always brought good luck to our family :) Sometimes we often wonder why our indoor cats can get upset, or even bored. Well we have to keep them entertained! One thing we always make sure to do is buy him toys....Something that gives him the opportunity to scratch, catch, or attack lol!! We also keep a indoor window seal completely clear just for him to get in the window to enjoy the sunshine and to bird watch! So if you have a kitty always make sure they are entertained and healthy! Also something else I would suggest is always have a scratching post this helps in keeping your furniture and wall boards safe if they are not declawed.

Ladies I know we all are guilty of forgetting or sometimes putting off our Wellness checkups However it is very important that you always remember to have these done. If you haven't scheduled your appointment with your family doctor then Please do so.  Always remember the importance of detecting cervical cancer, along with breast cancer or any other problems that may occur. It is very important to keep yourself regularly checked and examined to obtain good health and live a long productive life!  Also if you are not familiar with doing your own breast exams please make a effort to ask your doctor to show you how to properly do this! This is very important.
